This is an appointment slot for a patient with cold symptoms who do not have public health insurance in Japan. However, we do not examine patients with abdominal pain or vomiting, due to an in-adequate medical system in our clinic. We expect you to be able to speak elementary school level English, otherwise an interpreter will be required. Please be sure to fill out the fever outpatient questionnaire, which is displayed after reservation, before visiting the clinic. There is no extra waiting space within the clinic. If this does not apply, you will need to reschedule your reservation.

We only prescribe medications that have been approved by the Pharmaceutical Affairs Bureau in Japan.

The estimated minimal cost is about 27,500 yen (consultation fee, five days' worth of medication to relieve symptoms, fee for issuing an English medical information form to the insurance company, and consumption tax). If you undergo a PCR test for influenza and COVID-19 and are prescribed Xofluza, the total cost will be approximately 68,000 yen, which is about two-thirds of the cost of visiting a hospital. The cost of performing an antigen test and prescribing Tamiflu is cheaper than the above. If you are staying at a nearby hotel, the medical certificate will be delivered within 2 business days, otherwise it will be mailed to the address you specify.
